365

What does a photographer do when they are looking for something new to do? I surf the internet for inspiration and ideas and come along Project 365. A photo every day for 365 days? Now that looks like something really interesting! Albeit a bit daunting once the entire idea soaks in. I’m taking on this project to see where it can take me in my journeys as a photographer and as a person. There will be days where I’m full of inspiration and days where I will have none. Either way, the photos will show me where I’ve been and where I’m going.

Tall Texan 70.3 ... done! Not sure if it's one of the toughest courses in Texas, but the hills and heat made it sure feel like it. Bring on IMTX! Thanks to my parents and Shannon for coming out to support me. They're the best!

Nom, nom, nom.

Recycled wine bottles from Blue Bottle Studio out of Canyon Lake make for a nice wind chime.

Crawfish | 141

March 20, 2012

I was wandering the backyard checking out how much rain I got when I came across this crawfish. I'm not totally surprised to find one since we tossed a few in the pond during my birthday crawfish boil. He was a good ten feet from the pond and I'm not really sure where he was headed. I put him back by the waterfall where he promptly crawfished away.

Humiliated by criticism, financially ruined, and his health broken, Gorrie died in seclusionLuckily others continued his quest for ice and we are now without warm beverages.

Samantha has found a new friend in Mozart.

I'm not sure if I can eat just one of these truffles from Rheb's Candy out of Baltimore, Maryland.
