I’ve hosted davidriggs.com for many years now and it’s time for a refresh. The original site was hand coded using a custom template system that allowed me to post photos quickly and efficiently. I also included a custom shopping cart that allowed customers of my cycling photography to purchase via Paypal. All of these features needed to be transferred to the new site. I am now using a WordPress backend utilizing a customized Thesis theme.

I have the flexibility of my old site along with much easier content management. I do not have a shopping cart for my photography, but that will be addressed at some point. You can contact me via e-mail if you would like to purchase a photo. Currently I’m in the process of transferring old photography to the new site. I have quite a bit of photos to transfer to the database. They will be tagged and categorized for easy searching too. Something I never had with the old site.

Take a look around and let me know what you think. I always enjoy hearing what people think of my photography. I am by no means a professional, but I still enjoy it thoroughly.
